He took pride in our democracy and followed all the races.
A good thing too.
I loathe politics.
A two-party system that pits half of the country against the
other half makes no sense to me.
Everyone despises each other and parties spend 4 to 8 years
pushing an agenda only to have the other party take over and undo what was done
or work for the complete opposite.
It’s a wonder anything gets accomplished.
Regardless, I’m headed to the polls today.
I hung our flag outside and am drinking my coffee from one
of Adam’s America mugs.
He never would have voted early or sent in a mail-in ballot.
Adam loved Election Day. The excitement. Seeing it all in
action.
He took our kids out for donuts and then to the polls in 2016.
He did it again in 2020 and gave Ruby the privilege of filling in the circle to vote for her Momma as a District Court Judge.
He wanted them to see the process.
Understand it is necessary to participate and appreciate this incredible freedom men and women give their lives for.
No matter our problems, America is and always will be the greatest nation on earth.
Remember that no matter who wins.
